- Our focus can be to manipulate food services on campus or to educate people on food.
- Susan made a sign in the dinning hall which was meant to give food education to the students. The sign was abused.
- Madelyn wonders what food is available
- Susan is willing to answer questions.
- Zorn is interested in putting up information on how to eat cheaper and healthier food at home.
- Food Committee board was used and now only is used by the farm. Dianna once bought a chart to educate on food healthiness.
- Once they asked students what their favorite meals were. Gene now says that they have put out polls in the last few years to gather data on people's eating habits, dietary restrictions,
- Community involvement in ideas
- Gene wanted to do a bake sale to buy new table-clothes.
- The disconnect between the kitchen staff and the bigger community body is gigantic.

- Can we do organic produce? Yes we can, but we'll have to take something away over here.
- Gene has a disconnection between the kitchen and the administration
- Why aren't left overs given away for free?
- Gene will show how much money he spends on food. "total transparency"

- Yes, we can have organic, but we have to find another place for the money to come from.

- Gene and Sue have had problems getting students to show up to paid jobs -- how will we be able to motivate students to come when they are volunteering.
- When Dianna was here there was a co-op called (Grazers). They bought milk locally and they bought stuff from the Brattleboro Co-Op.
- 2 people would cook dinner every night for 25 people
- everyone was responsible for shopping and signing up for the meal you cooked
- It created an exclusive relationship of 25 students but it was a good experience

- Making the food better is this really the main issue?
- Small cut backs to five more food
- Not as well funded as Academics- We the school is making the best decisions
- Different options- Need to have good ideas, open to change, open dialogue,

- Coffee Shop is also being run by them, took it under their umbrella, they are helping us out

- We need to have empowering questions asked, by the student body and also by the administration.

- These Radical Ideas help move everything along,
- Maybe we can have a big meeting with lost of community support once a month and get ideas from that to go off of for our next set of things to take on
